The Mid-Atlantic’s Next Great Destination
Weldon Mills Resort is the place for shared experiences, active days, and highlight-reel nights. It’s made to keep the good times rolling with more to do in a single location.
Centered around an indoor waterpark experience and featuring sports events, live entertainment, food, drink, a distillery, and open-air gathering spaces, the district brings together something for every age, every day.
Located along the busiest I-95 exit in the region, this is where families stay, groups compete, friends create moments, kids have a blast, and every visit feels a little different than the last.
From concerts and tournament weekends to family getaways and everyday escapes, Weldon Mills Resort serves 17 million people in less than a 4-hour drive with a one-of-a-kind experience.
Mills, Music, Moments, And Memories
Roanoke Rapids has always carried a bigger ambition than just one venue or attraction. This is the next chapter in the story of a region shaped by the river, powered by mills, connected by rail, and long defined by people and movement. The Carolina Crossroads Amphitheatre where Dolly Parton helped make music history, and the surrounding district itself all proved the draw was real.
Now, that same spirit is being reshaped into a place where families can stay longer and do more together. Weldon Mills Resort builds on the legacy with an even more connected vision, designed to feel distinct.
It’s a unique destination where entertainment, sports, hospitality, food, and family fun come together every single day. More personal. More locally rooted. And more reasons to come back for something new.

When the sled drops, it’s game on.
